A nice triplet of medallions is woven through the central area of the main body. The medallions are surrounded by a wonderful rich red wool adorned by a classic design through the length of the runner. At 2'9" width, this makes for a very useful size for modern homes. A thick rug overall with plenty of life left to it.

All items are sold in "as found condition". This is a hand-made item of antique or vintage nature wear & tear is common. Wear can be caused by age, excessive use, corrosive dyes, and insect damage. Fading can be caused by the sun, time and animal/food stains, The colors in each individual rug also can vary greatly either through age or original dye lots.
