How can I see new rugs?

Follow me on Instagram, @rughabit. I will be posting images of items I come across before they are added to the website. 

Do you accept returns?

No, all sales are final. 

All items are one-of-a-kind. Each is either hand made, vintage or antique and may contain all or some of the following: worn areas, tears, holes, color fading, color bleeding, and minor or major damage. If you are looking for new items this is not the site for you. 

I looked at the photos but how do I know what the real condition of the item is? 

Since I don’t take returns or refunds. If you have any hesitation about buying an item and can’t tell the condition from the photos available, ask me for more. It may take a day or two but I’ll send you the photos you need to be confident in the item you are buying. Just reference the item in our correspondence.

How do you photograph your items?

I use a DSLR currently and a set of flashes currently the rugs are on the cement floor in my barn. I’m not going to get deep into the technical aspects of photography here but all photos are white balanced.

Do you edit your photographs? 

Yes, I apply the correct white balance to the images (as stated before) and I will also adjust exposure and crop when necessary.  Why white balance? Look at the sun in the morning, mid-day and evening even-though it’s technical daylight all time periods have different color cast. 

Wait, are you telling me you Photoshop your images? 

No, I adjust the images to represent the items as true to life as I can.  I do not remove blemishes, visible damage, or other factors that would miss-represent the items being sold. Or as people like to say “Photoshopped”. 

Can I schedule a pick up if I'm local?

Yes, I provide the option for local pick up. Just select local pick up at checkout. We will then set up an appointment!

Is shipping & tax included?

Shipping and taxes will be calculated at checkout. I only ship to the continental United States at this time.

All orders are shipped within 2-5 business days from the time the payment and shipping information is approved. Tracking information will be provided.
